Tour Itenery:
Day 1:(Arrival at leh airport) Kushok Bakula rimpochee airport leh is one of the world’s highest commercial airport at a height of 10,682 ft. The Thrill and adventure starts right at this airport. ● Be greeted by Local leh representative of kashmir port,proceed to Hotel for check in. ● Sudden change in altitude will make you feel pressured and if need arises take medical help available at the hotel. ● Relax, Get acclimatized and take a walk in evening to Changspa road ● Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 2: Monastery Tour (3 Idiots School, & Thiksey Monastery) Full day sightseeing tour of 3 idiots school, Shey Palace, Sindhu-Ghat andThiksey Monastery. later drive back from the same route to visit Thiksay Monastery which is famous for its gigantic statue of Materaya lastly we visit Shey Palace the summer hub of Namgyal Dynasty kings . Dinner & overnight at Hotel.
Day 3:Leh-Nubra After early breakfast drive for Nubra Valley at early as possible, which is 135 km from Leh enroute through the world highest accessible road Khardong La(18,379 ft). Reach Diskit (headquarter of Nubra valley) by noon and check in at the hotel/camp and have Hot lunch. Evening visit Diskit Monastery, and Sand dunes in Hunder Village 7km from Diskit and take a ride of Double Humped bacterian Camels. Dinner and overnight at camp.
Day 4: NUBRA -Turtuk -nubra (5 h 40 min (203.6 km) via Khardung La Rd and Diskit )- After Breakfast today we start our journey to Turtuk which is 80Kms from Nubra approx 05 Hrs drive and it’s the last Indian village on India - Pakistan border - Turtuk. Turtuk was captured by Indian army in the 1971 war from Pakistan. This village has a similar culture and language to Ladakhi. The religion of Turtuk is mostly Nurbakshi Muslim; some villages are Shia. Arrive Turtuk by afternoon visit the local village and check in at Hotel/Camp.
DAY 5: Nubra- Pangong via Shayok-leh (300 Kms) After early breakfast drive for Pangong Lake which is 149Km from Nubra enriute through Shayok river. The Lake is situated at the height of 4350 meters (14270 ft) in the Changthang region of Leh district. The lake is hardly six to seven kilometer at its widest point and over 130km long, it is bisected by the international border between India and China.
Day 6: Pangong -leh Wake up early in the morning to witness the mesmerizing beauty of Pangong Lake under the fresh morning rays. Post breakfast set off for a drive back Leh. You will reach Leh by the afternoon; you can spend the rest of the time in the local markets of the city. Overnight at hotel.
Day 7: (Sham valley Tour) Sham Valley includes Likir, Basgo, Zanskar and Indus Confluence at Nimmu, Magnetic Hills, Gurudwara Pather Sahib… Gosh, a long list but they all are very much close to each other and requires about 165 km of drive for the complete tour and back to Leh in a day.
Day 8:Tour Ends After early breakfast transfer to Kushok Bakula Leh airport for the return flight. Journey ends with exotic memories and stories to be related once back home. Tour concludes.
